Just an hour away...

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we can get to San Francisco and Oakland. We have attended concerts and baseball games in Oakland, have flown out of the Oakland airport, and gone to restaurants in the Berkeley area - in heavy traffic on a Friday during the evening commute, we still got to the Giants/As 'Battle of the Bay' in a bit over an hour. During non-rush hour times, it takes even less time.

We often meet friends in San Francisco to visit museums, try new restaurants, go to Smuggler's Cove for a tiki drink, or see concerts. Now we can ride SMART so that we do not have to worry about parking.
